The MacPicasso 540 baseboard is a powerful, top of the line, 128 bit accelerated graphic board designed for DTP use
The board can be expanded to provide :
- A very high end 3D accelerator engine
- A video encoder with Y/C (S-VHS, Hi8) high quality video output
- A TV tuner / video capturing board with RF + Y/C & CVBS inputs
- A real time video effect generator machine
- An excelllent quality audio digitiser with embedded audio mixer
The fully expanded board takes up to two PCI slots. Thanks to the direct local connection between the different modules, the MacPicasso 540 is able to reach speeds never seen with seperated stand alone products.
